SOCIETY AND MEMBERSHIP
CGS membership is made up of Grahams and those who know the very distinguished accomplishments and honorable ideals of the Grahams, past and present. Membership in the Clan Graham Society is open to all who claim Graham ancestry via birth or marriage; and those who wish to become associate members and support the goals of the society. Because of the large number of Grahams in Scotland, their wide dispersion all along the Highland line was from Montrose on the North Sea to Loch Lomond (and further west) down past Glasgow through the Lowlands to Carlisle on the Border.

‘Graham Country’ is a free downloadable copy of a comprehensive overview of Graham estates and castles all over Scotland.

The archive is based on the archives of retired genealogist the late Nellie Graham Lowry. Our newsletters go back to the year CGS was first founded, 1975.

Stream Center
Interested in seeing live events or re-living past ones? When possible, Clan Graham will stream anything from Highland games to general events and meetings like the Annual General Meeting. These are recorded and can be viewed at a later date.
Geneology
Have you wondered which branch of Grahams yours is from? Before the age of document digitization and Y-DNA, that seemed nearly impossible. But now we will have a library organized by the eight Graham families, plus a roadmap (index) of historical Graham family pedigrees to help you better use the archives. The goal is for researchers to be able to compare their genealogical family trees that start from the “bottom-up” against the historical pedigrees of various known Graham family lines that are built from the “top-down.”

Mugdock Trust
The Clan Graham Society actively supports Mugdock Trust, a charitable organization, formed in 1991. Mugdock Trust is dedicated to preserving and maintaining historical and ecological features in Mugdock Country Park and Mugdock Castle. Mugdock Trust funded the creation of the “Clan Graham Room” in the castle tower and other initiatives. Donations to Mugdock Trust via Clan Graham Society are earmarked and donated to this charitable organization.
Scottish Arts Scholarship
Clan Graham Society Scottish Arts Scholarship was established to encourage and promote Scottish arts and culture (e.g. dancing, piping, fiddling, drumming). Donations to the Arts Scholarship are earmarked for this scholarship. The annual deadline is March 31st.
